Physiotherapy

We have a team of highly specialised and experienced physiotherapists  who will be able to start you on your road to recovery. We treat a broad range of conditions, using a variety of different treatment techniques, and will also tailor make a programme of exercises and advice for you. By restoring strength and mobility we will assist with your condition and aim to prevent further recurrence.

All physio sessions are strictly on an appointment basis. 

We have in stock Cutches, Neck Braces/Collars, Wheelchairs and various other equipment to assist with the recovery process

Geriatric Physiotherapy

Geriatrics addresses multiple issues associated with the aging process. These issues include multiple medical diagnoses, social and emotional needs, mobility and balance impairments and challenges in independent living. One of the major areas that physiotherapy would address is limitations in balance/mobility. 

Pediatrics Physiotherapy

Whether your child has a chronic illness, disability or is recovering from surgery, our dedicated paediatric physiotherapists can help to reduce discomfort and support their recovery. We have the facilities and expertise to look after your child.

Sports Physiotherapy

The benefits of sports and exercise far outweigh the risks, but occasionally injuries do happen. Sports injuries can result from sudden trauma, or repetitive stress associated with athletic activities, and can affect bones or soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, nerves and tendons).

If you have injured yourself, you may have immediate pain, tenderness, swelling, bruising, and restricted movement or stiffness in the affected area. Sometimes these symptoms may only be noticeable several hours after exercising or playing sports.

Womens Health

Are you experiencing back or pelvic pain during pregnancy? Are your shoulders and neck stiff after breast-feeding? Do you need guidance on how to help your pelvic and abdominal muscles to heal?  Experienced Physiotherapists will conduct a thorough assessment and will provide you with a tailored treatment plan. 

Rehabilitation and Pain Management

Cardiorespiratory

This is an area of physiotherapy that focuses on prevention and rehabilitation of heart disease and other injuries related to the heart and lungs. Example of other related issues are, shortness of breath, persistent cough and the reduced ability to exercise.

Neurological Physiotherapy

Neurological physiotherapy involves the treatment of people with movement and function disorders that have originated from problems within the body’s nervous and neuromuscular system. These conditions often manifest themselves as muscle weakness, poor balance and coordination, uncontrolled muscle spasm and tremors, loss of function and decreased sensation.
